Members of the Armenian Community filled the Navasartian Centre on Saturday evening, despite the 14th of May being the night of the Eurovision Song Contest. The topic was chosen because AMA members believe it to be important. So it was gratifying to see that it struck a chord with the community attracting a large turnout. Dr Vahak Taveetian, an Iraqi born psychiatrist, spoke on Mental and Emotional Well-being How to keep yourself mentally healthy. The audience was enthralled and recommended that we repeat the event to a wider group.
Collections were taken for our Artsakh Appeal. We are still counting the donations but so far they have exceeded £1500.
